Procurement Specialist

KDF Technologies is a leading manufacturer of PVD (physical vapor deposition) capital equipment to the microelectronics, medical, thin film circuits, and semiconductor markets. Overview of Responsibilities The Procurement Specialist will perform our production scheduling and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of creating and executing manufacturing orders, driving MRP, and purchasing items to fulfill production and inventory requirements. Key Job Elements Create manufacturing orders and coordinate release to manufacturing based on production schedules Handle all purchasing activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management Coordinate production control and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products Drive MRP system to optimize inventory levels and production schedules Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems Benefits Company-paid medical and dental insurance 401k plan Paid vacations Sick time Compensation The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000 per year.
