Experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic Immediate Opening for Motivated Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic who is ready to achieve their goals with a stable and established company. We are looking for a mechanic with a minimum of 2 years hands‑on experience and a basic knowledge of electrical systems, and diesel engine components. Having your own tools as well as having a basic knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment is required. The right candidate should be able to run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret the results while offering suitable solutions. Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts systems. The position requires the repairing or replacing of equipment transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts. This position requires test driving repaired equipment to gauge its performance, complete oil changes and brake checks. More daily duties may vary from equipment pre-delivery set‑ups to preparing equipment for sale.
