Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Warehouse Forklift Operator position with a Leading Ceramic Manufacturing Plant. Applicants must be certified to operate a Forklift. This position will pay $18.00 per hour, and the hours are Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.


Responsibilities:

• Putting away, staging, and loading shipment
• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Count weighs and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on a daily production sheet
• Attach identifying tags or labels to boxes
• Maintain cleanliness of fork truck and work area
• Assist in cleaning other areas
• Adhere to all safety regulations
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Capable of completing all safety training
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• Capable of working in a noisy, loud environment
• Capable of being regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel Toe boots, Safety glasses, Hearing protection, and other equipment per related to safety SOP
