Shop Manager

Job Description Looking for someone with day-to-day leadership working with craft and trade employees in an architectural metalwork fabrication shop. Employee Management
- Conducts regular performance conversations and provides timely, constructive feedback
- Addresses performance issues promptly and in accordance with company policy
- Supports employee development through on-the-job coaching and skills training
- Participates in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes in coordination w/HR
- Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and accountability of shop tools and equipment
- Ensures all equipment is in safe working conditions and that inspections and maintenance schedules are followed
- Enforces company policies regarding tool handling, storage, and care
- Tracks equipment inventory and communicates needs or deficiencies to the Division Manager
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing craft or trade employees in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Professional references required
- Valid driver' s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check - no criminal record
