Associate Attorney

Personal Injury Associate AttorneyA well-established and growing plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of Personal Injury litigation experience who is eager to develop as a trial lawyer.The firm offers hands-on mentorship, significant courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to gain extensive litigation experience while working alongside experienced trial attorneys. The ideal candidate is hardworking, adaptable, detail-oriented, and willing to put in the time necessary to build a successful litigation career.ResponsibilitiesDraft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Prepare and respond to discovery requests.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.Meet with clients and assist with case strategy.Prepare for and conduct depositions.Draft and argue motions.Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as needed.Manage cases from inception through resolution.Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals while handling matters independently.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school.Active New York Bar license required.Minimum 1 year of Personal Injury litigation experience.Admission to Federal Court is a plus.Experience with NYSCEF, eCourts/E-Law, and PACER is preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.ScheduleFull-timeMonday through FridayOn-site positionCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience ($75,000-$180,000).Mentorship from experienced litigators.Excellent opportunity for professional growth and courtroom experience.Long-term career advancement within a collaborative litigation practice.
