MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Start Date: August 17, 2026
Contract Length: 12 Weeks
Shift: Days (Monday–Friday)
Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts (7:30 AM start)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Call Requirement: Yes – Rotational call required (one week per month: weekdays 5:00 PM–6:00 AM, weekends 24-hour call)

Job Description

MRI Technologist to join a busy acute care radiology department. The technologist will perform high-quality MRI examinations for both inpatient and outpatient populations while maintaining patient safety and imaging quality. This position requires proficiency in MRI procedures, patient care, IV starts, and collaboration with radiologists and the healthcare team.

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience .
• Active ARRT (MR) certification.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Active Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist License .
• Experience performing Musculoskeletal (MSK), Neuro, and Body MRI studies .
• Experience with 1.5T MRI equipment .
• Strong IV insertion and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to perform approximately 10 MRI scans per day .
• Experience with Meditech EMR and Synapse PACS preferred.
• Must be willing to work rotational call, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• Ability to float between nearby locations when needed.
