PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Coordinator III, Training, Learning, Engagement, andDevelopment (LED) Center coordinates and supports the planning,delivery, and continuous improvement of professional developmentand onboarding programs. This position is responsible formaintaining workflows, records, compliance processes, scheduling,and departmental operations related to learning and employeedevelopment initiatives. Reporting to the Director of the LEDCenter, this position collaborates with internal and externalstakeholders to support training delivery, learner needs, eventsand meetings, program evaluation, and continuous improvementefforts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Maintains operational records and reporting data within theproject management system; prepares relevant reports and presentsfindings to internal and external constituents Assists with the development and maintenance of workflows,training materials, and learning resources for onboarding andprofessional development; collaborates on the coordination anddelivery of training sessions for employees Maintains current knowledge of the assigned area and acts as apoint of contact for internal and external customers Conducts needs assessments; reviews participation, relevantdata, and feedback; and makes recommendations for continuousimprovement of professional development programs Ensures compliance with applicable system, campus, anddepartmental processes, procedures, and documentationrequirements Takes part in the development and implementation of newprofessional development programs and initiatives May supervise, train, and assist with the development ofdepartmental staff Coordinates departmental scheduling and operational activities,including meetings, seminars, events, site preparation, marketingand training materials, and general support Provides basic troubleshooting assistance for software andtechnology used by individual learners Monitors resources such as office supplies and instructionalequipment, and coordinates with the Director to makerecommendations for future purchases Responsible for other reasonable, related duties asassigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably todo the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; ordriving an automobile. No special physical demands are required toperform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:

Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in aMicrosoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other generaloffice equipment Interface with internal and external contacts as needed tocarry out the functions of the position Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimalexposure to safety hazards Work schedule may include evenings and weekends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or anequivalent combination of education and experience Salary Hiring salary range is $48,152 - $55,375 Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all postedfull-time non-faculty positions.
