Responsibilities Develop solutions within the Salesforce or CRM platform, integratin with Salesforce to meet stakeholder requirements for existing and new functionality. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions including dashboards, interfaces, and integrations. Assist with necessary system upgrades in all Salesforce environments, testing all impacted areas and workflows. Work with institutional management to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change‑management activities. Assist in training new users and expanding the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization. Collaborate with the user community to define and document development requirements. Assist with the evaluation, scoping, and completion of new development requests. Understand and adhere to Rutgers’ compliance standards as outlined in the RBHS Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant system development experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity. Programming experience with SQL, SFDC Toolkit, VisualForce, and Apex. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs. Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards. Ability to work with changing priorities and multiple projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agile development framework. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification. Familiarity with CSS, Java, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, XML, AJAX, and jQuery. Standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing are required. No special vision requirements. Salary Minimum Salary: $92,722; Mid‑Range Salary: $111,839; Maximum Salary: $133,206.
