Job DescriptionJob Description Desktop Utility Inspector T&DLocation: Remote (United States) Employment Type: Employee (Part-Time or Full-Time) Travel Requirement: None (fully remote) Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time, depending on the candidate Compensation: Competitive pay based on experienceAbout Soaring Eagle TechnologiesSoaring Eagle Technologies provides advanced aerial inspection, LiDAR mapping, utility infrastructure assessment, renewable energy inspection, and data collection services across North America.Position OverviewSoaring Eagle is seeking an experienced Desktop Utility Inspector T&D to review drone-collected imagery of electric utility distribution and transmission assets. This position is fully remote and supports utility inspection programs across the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesReview drone-collected RGB and infrared imagery of utility poles, lines, and related equipment.Identify and classify defects and assign severity ratings in accordance with customer and company standards.Annotate findings accurately in inspection software.Escalate safety-critical findings promptly to the Project Manager.Meet production and quality targets within project deadlines.Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years of electric utility distribution or transmission experience.Prior desktop or imagery-based inspection experience.Ability to work independently.Reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of running inspection Preferred QualificationsExperience as Journeyman Lineman or Qualified Electrical WorkerWhy Soaring Eagle?This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote, part-time or full-time position combined with the opportunity to support inspection programs for major electric utilities across the country.
