Executive Director of Angelo State Global Job Title Executive Director of Angelo State Global Position Number Position Number 977550 Department Salary $100,000 Remote Remote No Job Summary The Executive Director of Angelo State Global provides leadership and oversight for the university’s online education enterprise, supporting enrollment growth, student success, and academic excellence. The position develops and advances innovative online programs, student support services, and strategic partnerships that expand access and improve outcomes for online learners. Strategic Leadership and Growth- Provide vision, leadership, and operational oversight for Angelo State Global, developing and executing strategies that advance the university’s online education mission, expand access to academic programs, support enrollment growth, and align with institutional priorities. Online Student Success and Support Services- Lead the development and continuous improvement of comprehensive services for online learners, including admissions coordination, advising, onboarding, retention initiatives, academic support, and concierge-style student services that promote student success, persistence, and degree completion. Academic Program Development and Innovation- Collaborate with academic colleges, faculty, department chairs, and university leadership to identify, develop, launch, and evaluate high-demand online degree programs, certificates, micro credentials, and workforce-responsive educational opportunities. Online Learning Quality and Institutional Collaboration- Partner with academic and administrative units to ensure excellence in online education through effective program delivery, instructional innovation, data-informed decision-making, technology integration, and continuous assessment of student and program outcomes Administration, Operations, and External Partnerships- Supervise personnel and oversee budgets, resources, technology platforms, vendor relationships, and operational processes supporting Angelo State Global while cultivating internal and external partnerships that enhance educational access, workforce alignment, and student success. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of online higher education administration, enrollment management, and student success strategies. Knowledge of adult learner populations, workforce-focused educational pathways, and market-responsive program development. Knowledge of admissions, advising, retention, and student support services in a university setting. Knowledge of accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and higher education best practices related to distance education. Knowledge of NC- SARA , THECB , and SACSCOC requirements relating to distance education. Skilled in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and project management. Skilled in using data analytics and performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Skilled in budget development, resource management, and operational planning. Ability to lead organizational change and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and service excellence. Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop professional staff. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a student-centered focus. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree from an accredited institution and five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education, online education, enrollment management, student success, academic administration, or a related field. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, supervising professional staff, and utilizing data-informed decision-making to achieve organizational goals.
