Primary City/State: Sun City West, Arizona Department Name: Angiography-Hosp Work Shift: Day Job Category: Clinical Care Location: Banner Del Webb Medical Center - 14502 W Meeker Blvd. Sun City, AZ 85375 Schedule: Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm, 4 days a week with 10‑hour shifts. Call rotation for after hours, weekends, and holidays. Looking for: RT(R) ARRT with advanced certification within 18 months and 2 years of experience. Position Summary This position performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols. The role ensures optimal patient care and treatment. Core Functions Performs radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures by following and verifying referring provider orders, using independent judgment and established methodology. Educates patients and families about procedures and/or treatments. Demonstrates professional conduct, fosters teamwork, and promotes quality patient outcomes. Produces high‑quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation, maintaining accurate documentation. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures, including administration of radiopharmaceuticals and approved medications. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements, troubleshoots issues, and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain performance, ensuring a safe environment and adherence to radiation safety policies. Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice, maintaining confidentiality of all work information. Assures efficient workflow operation, monitoring and maintaining adequate inventory of supplies and materials to avoid service interruptions. Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, interacting with all levels of medical imaging, nursing, medical staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure if applicable. Advanced specialty certification required within 18 months of hire (or equivalent clinical experience for Cath Lab and Electrophysiology only). BLS certification. Two years of clinical experience with effective communication, human relations, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
