Responsibilities Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as CAD, CAM or CATIA Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications Requirements High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience -or- Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years experience Proficient in electrical and cableway design modeling and drawing extraction Experience in developing and reviewing electrical products to ensure compliance with design standards and integration requirements Strong understanding of electrical system layout principles Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats Certifications & Qualifications High School Diploma GED Associates Degree 2 year technical degree #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
