Job Details Job Location: Greensboro, NC 27409 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $16.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Responsibilities Performs package delivery and pick up services. Operates vehicle and optimizes the delivery route considering priorities and traffic patterns. Operates and drives vehicles for pick-up and delivery of various goods in a polite, resourceful, professional, safe and secure manner. Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping by sorting cargo set for delivery. Provides customer service while delivering over established routes. Inspects and maintains vehicle and equipment to ensure that they are in proper working condition. Communicates with central dispatch using mobile communications. Obeys traffic laws and follows organization’s transportation procedures. Ensures packages are delivered and entered accurately. Provides excellent customer service and responds to customer requests. Qualifications Candidate must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Must be able to work Monday through Friday, and some weekends based on operational needs. Must have a consistently positive attitude and be able to work well with customers and other employees. Must be capable of carrying and stocking a variety of products including boxes that are approximately 50 lbs. and be capable of lifting at least 75 lbs. Must be creative and self‑motivated to solve problems as they arise. Must have excellent communication skills and a true desire to provide customers the highest level of service. Must have a professional appearance and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Must be flexible, adaptable and willing to handle a variety of responsibilities. Must be reliable and dependable.
