Position: Senior Azure Databricks Data Engineer – AI & Analytics

Location: Austin, TX , Telework. Mostly Telework sometimes weekly need to visit the office for in person meetings .

Our Direct Client: State of Texas

Duration: 12+ Months ( 08/31/2027), extension likely for years

Interview Type: Through Microsoft Teams /In Person interview

Job Description:

The primary work location(s) will be at 4900 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78751. The working position is Telework.

The Worker is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing big data solutions using the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform .

This role supports data engineering, machine learning, and analytics initiatives within this organization that relies on large-scale data processing.

Duties include:

Designing and developing scalable data pipelines
Implementing ETL/ELT workflows
Optimizing Spark jobs
Integrating with Azure Data Factory
Automating deployments
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ensuring data quality, governance, and security
Build AI accelerators and reusable components to boost development teams’ productivity.
