Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych/Rehab Float Unit

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Psych/Rehab float unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health management and rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
Experience in psychiatric or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
