Operating Room Nurse

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality peri-operative care in a surgical setting, evaluating patients, preparing them for surgery, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, educate patients and families, manage preoperative procedures, participate in surgical site verification, recognize emergencies, and document thoroughly. Team Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, technologists, and providers, applying critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associate or Bachelor's degree, circulating OR experience required, and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
