Promotions Coordinator The Promotions Coordinator plans and implements promotional and publicity campaigns for a portfolio of client presses. Responsibilities Writes and edits marketing copy. Reviews advertisements, copy, and marketing materials. Researches media and creates review lists and conducts necessary media outreach. Serves as marketing liaison with client publishers and with other departments at the press and responds to regular inquiries from clients related to promotions and events. Creates and schedules social media posts on behalf of client presses. Performs one or more of the following marketing functions: marketing communications/advertising; web blogs or digital marketing; market research; development or review and update of the marketing infrastructure and management of external sales agency relationships. Assists in developing marketing communications, advertising, or publicity materials with a moderate to high level of guidance from others. Performs other related work as needed. Minimum Qualifications Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in a related field. Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through less than 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree.
