About the Position

Job Opportunity – Travel RN – Labor & Delivery – Texas

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Weatherford, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a 4-bed LDR unit with 1:1 or 2:1 patient ratios
• No floating required; focused labor and delivery experience
• Documentation via Meditech and CPN systems
• Immediate newborn care including golden hour and PACU responsibilities for cesarean sections
• Facility-provided scrubs with professional dress code standards
• No call requirements

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• 2+ years of hospital experience in Labor & Delivery specialty
• Current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
• Proficiency in labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, golden hour baby care, and PACU for cesarean sections
• Ability to circulate cesarean sections (must have)
• Experience with patient engagement including AIDET and bedside shift reporting
• Ability to scrub cesarean sections and Meditech experience preferred
