About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Texas**Start Date:** June 15, 2026 **Location:** Weatherford, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week, 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Labor and Delivery unit with 4 LDR suites providing comprehensive perinatal care
• Patient ratios of 1:1 during labor, 2:1 couplet care for optimal patient safety
• Full-scope L&D experience including immediate newborn care, golden hour, PACU, and circulating C-sections
• Documentation via Meditech and CPN systems
• No floating required - dedicated to L&D unit
• Every other weekend scheduling rotation with no on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN certification strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency in labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, golden hour care, and PACU
• Ability to circulate C-sections (must have)
• Ability to scrub C-sections (preferred)
• Experience with AIDET principles and bedside shift reporting
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
