R&D Technician

R&D Technician (Electrical Focus) Location: Valencia, CA Pay: $35-$41/hour We are seeking an experienced R&D Technician for a temporary, onsite opportunity supporting product development and prototyping. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electrical testing, PCB design, and hands‑on prototyping experience who thrive in a collaborative engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Build and test prototypes, cables, and fixtures to support product development Assist engineers with design, analysis, and validation of electrical systems and components Create and document designs using SolidWorks and CAD tools Develop PCB layouts using Altium or similar software Interpret and work from electrical schematics and engineering drawings Support prototype assembly, troubleshooting, and testing activities Coordinate materials, vendors, and internal resources for project needs Communicate progress and contribute to quality standards and specifications Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in R&D or engineering support Strong electrical aptitude and hands‑on assembly experience Experience with schematic reading, PCB design, and CAD software (SolidWorks) High attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent teamwork and communication skills Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
