Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and problem-solving Maintenance Coordinator to support our property management operations. An ideal candidate enjoys hitting deadlines and budgets, solving problems, and driving their work to completion. You will be incredibly important to the scalability as well as operational and financial health of AXIS. This role helps shape the reputation, value, and sustainability for AXIS.

Maintenance and Unit Turn

Serve as primary point of contact for residents reporting maintenance issues Evaluate, hire, and maintain vendor and contract relationships Improve cost efficiencies and maintain budget with proper prioritization, investigating irregularities, researching alternative solutions, and resource allocation

Secondary Responsibilities Perform maintenance and Unit Turn tasks Lead AXIS Builder crews in the field Proactively suggest and implement preventative maintenance plans

Qualifications Proven experience in renovation, repair, and maintenance work, preferably in a rental property or similar setting Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants, property managers, and fellow team members Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts to address urgent maintenance needs Interest in facilities management, construction, or related fields Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously A proactive approach, always anticipating and addressing potential maintenance issues before they escalate Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and willing to learn maintenance software Benefits A collaborative, mission-driven culture
