This position seeks an experienced Staff Pharmacist to work every Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a retail and compounding pharmacy setting. The role involves primarily checking retail prescriptions with minimal counseling, along with verifying non-sterile compounded medications where mathematical skills on formulas are needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate retail prescription checks using Pioneer RX order entry system
• Verify non-sterile compounded medications, ensuring compliance with formulas and safety standards
• Maintain quality control on the retail dispensing line
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support smooth operations during shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Virginia pharmacy license required
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy operations
• Skills or experience in non-sterile compounding are a strong advantage
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to compounding formulas

• Position based in Cedar Bluff, VA

Schedule:
