Sugar Mama Desserts is searching for a Part-Time Baker to join their team!
We are primarily an ice cream business, but we are wanting to expand into baked goods. We are seeking for someone that is passionate about baking. Someone who appreciates hard labor and is eager to experiment with various varieties of sweets in little and large batches. If you can work independently or with a team, this is the position for you. Your duty is to produce delicious goodies for our shop and catering occasions. Looking for someone who has prior expertise preparing some form of desserts. Requirements/Responsibilities- Baking a variety of different types of desserts from cakes, to cake pops, pies, etc.
-Someone who does not mind experimenting in making different types of treats. -As a baker you will be required to make a variety of different types of baked goods either in small or larger quantities. -Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. -Ensure consistent quality in all baked goods. -Creatively contribute to the development of new pastry offerings - Able to lift up to 25-50 pounds -Time management skills -Ability to follow verbal and written instructions -Has no issue standing for multiple hours a day -Maintaining an organized, safe, and clean work environment -Ability to work well in a team setting, as well as work well independently -Someone who does not mind working part- time or full time depending on our orders. - Morning- Mid afternoon weekday availability preferred/ Have flexible schedule.
