Assistant Technician (Repair Station)

The Opportunity Williams International has an Assistant Technician in our FAA-certified Repair Station. As an Assistant Technician, you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include: turbine engine and sub-component disassembly, high-tech cleaning of engine components, evaluation and testing of fuel nozzles, restocking fluids and hardware in support of engine reassembly, plus a variety of other tasks enabling you to quickly become a contributing member of our team, with the possibility of earning FAA Repairman Certification and moving into higher positions of responsibility. Qualifications Must have a high school degree, or equivalent Beneficial to be mechanically inclined Basic computer skills required Must have good verbal and written communication skills Physical lifting requirements include: Ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches) Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds A grip strength of at least 50 pounds Able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum) U.S. citizenship is required Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
