Registered Nurse - Neuro Stepdown

Schedule

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse for the Neuro Stepdown unit will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working with neuro patients. The candidate will need to possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neuro stepdown patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting progress and changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro stepdown nursing or related specialty.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Active RN license verification through Nursys.
