Amazon Marketplace Manager

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

As the Amazon Marketplace Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our rapidly expanding Amazon Sales Channel. This position is responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies that boost visibility, maximize conversion, and improve operational efficiency on the Amazon Marketplace. You will manage every aspect of our Amazon strategy execution, while collaborating cross-functionally with teams across Operations, Finance, and Marketing. Your expertise in e-commerce and data-driven decision-making will be essential in scaling our Amazon business and maintaining a competitive edge in the digital marketplace. Description As the Amazon Marketplace Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our rapidly expanding Amazon Sales Channel. This position is responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies that boost visibility, maximize conversion, and improve operational efficiency on the Amazon Marketplace. You will manage every aspect of our Amazon strategy execution, while collaborating cross-functionally with teams across Operations, Finance, and Marketing. Your expertise in e-commerce and data-driven decision-making will be essential in scaling our Amazon business and maintaining a competitive edge in the digital marketplace. What You’ll Do (major Responsibilities) Day-to-day Amazon account management and maintenance Execute the Amazon channel strategy in partnership with the Amazon Strategy Director to accelerate sales and reduce costs Manage and Optimize Amazon Ad Campaigns with our agency partners Verify Listings follow applicable Amazon regulations and best practices Work closely with our Operations team to forecast inventory requirements Assist the Finance team with any financial reporting Manage and optimize product detail pages (PDPs) including titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ / enhanced content, imagery, video, and attributes Own Amazon catalog health, including suppressions, variations, compliance issues, and listing errors Monitor and improve conversion rate, traffic quality, and sales performance at the SKU level Partner with creative and brand teams to brief, test, and launch high-performing PDP content and visuals; test and iterate on PDP elements (copy, imagery, layout, modules) Analyze competitive landscapes (pricing, claims, content, reviews) and surface opportunities and risks Manage and optimize ratings, reviews, and Q&A strategies in partnership with CX and marketing Track and report on key digital shelf KPIs (conversion rate, content scorecards, share of search) Coordinate product launches and updates to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency across the channel Ensure claims and content align with regulatory and compliance requirements for supplements/health products Manage Blueroot’s Brand Protection efforts to mitigate unauthorized seller impact What You’ll Need (knowledge/Skills/Experience) Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related program 3+ years of experience and track record of success selling directly in Amazon Seller Central Deep knowledge of Amazon Advertising including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP Advanced Excel knowledge, data analysis, and problem solving skills Strong understanding of digital shelf optimization, SEO, and CRO Experience in CPG, supplements, or health & wellness strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, including oral and written communication. Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information and use such information to develop actionable recommendations Work well under tight timelines Ability to prioritize work in fast-paced environment & adapt to ever changing digital landscape.
