Are you a certified CT Technologist seeking a meaningful opportunity in outpatient diagnostics? We're hiring an ARRT-Certified CT Technologist to join a specialized imaging team supporting oncology care in North Central New Mexico . This full-time role plays a key part in delivering timely, accurate diagnostic scans for patients receiving cancer treatment-while working in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct CT and radiographic imaging studies in alignment with established protocols and safety guidelines
  • Prepare and educate patients before procedures, ensuring a calm and informed experience
  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment, adjusting techniques to achieve optimal image quality
  • Upload and manage diagnostic images within PACS and EMR systems (e.g., Cerner, Athena)
  • Support outpatient care with additional tasks including ECGs, vitals, basic lab testing, and patient registration
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures at all times
  • Assist with maintaining equipment functionality and reporting technical issues promptly
  • Collaborate closely with oncology care teams to ensure smooth patient flow and quality outcomes
Qualifications

Education & Credentials:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
  • New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license required
  • ARRT CT Certification (or completion within 12 months of hire)
  • BLS certification through AHA required
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred or required within 6 months
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology; outpatient or oncology experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficient in CT imaging techniques and positioning
  • Comfortable working with oncology patients or in specialty clinics
  • Effective communicator with excellent patient care skills
  • Technically skilled with imaging platforms, PACS, and EMRs
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment
