Direct Materials Procurement Intern (Summer 2027)

Internship Opportunity

Support the Procurement and Direct Materials Team in developing Commodity Strategies. Manage and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Ensure all documentation is available and properly completed for IATF audit requirements. This is critical to proper direct materials supplier management for the auto-industry.

Analyzing monthly reporting on performance, investigate variances, present findings, and organize and file forms as appropriate. Managing the business review process and establishing master schedule, track and monitor vendor spend. Supporting the development of strategy template, manage the scheduling and cadence of the strategy development sessions, launch RFQ's and E-Auctions as necessary. Supporting supplier transition.

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university. Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Business Management. Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer. Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week. Hybrid internship must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
