Registered Nurse (RN) - Day ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts.The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality patient care by adhering to nursing care plans. This role includes supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).Responsibilities:Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.Collaborate with patients/families and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and goals related to patient diagnoses.Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the admission date.Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record of all assessments and interventions.Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.Promote and ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with established policies.Maintain communication with management regarding supply and equipment needs.Assume charge responsibilities as requested after the orientation period.Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.ACLS required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY).Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.Active RN license in the state for which you are applying is desired.Recent ICU experience is highly desired.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
