Grace Baptist Church is a Congregational governed, Elder led Church. Established in 1969 as First Southern Baptist Mission, formed through the vision of Trinity Baptist Church of Aurora, IL. In 1971 the congregation changed its name to First Baptist Church of Papillion and held the first service on the new campus on Halleck. In 2005 the church adopted the current name Grace Baptist Church of Papillion. With over 100 members, Grace Baptist Church has ministered from the heart of Papillion since 1969. Demographics: We are an older congregation with many retired military families. We have families of all ages, those with young children and college age youth being the least represented. Affiliated with Heartland Church Network, a local network of the Southern Baptist Convention. The church holds to Reformed theology with an amillennial eschatology. We adopt as the fullest expression of our faith the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith in either its original or modern language texts.
