Role Description

RSR Senior Residences is seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Director to provide leadership for one of our Assisted Living communities in the Kendall area of Miami .

The Executive Director is the senior leader of the community and is responsible for its overall operation, culture, resident experience, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team development. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position requiring an engaged and visible presence throughout the community.

The Executive Director works closely with residents, families, department leaders, staff, corporate leadership, and external partners to ensure high standards of care and service while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily community operations; developing and supporting department leaders and staff; maintaining resident and family relationships; ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; managing budgets and financial performance; supporting census and occupancy goals; and safeguarding the overall quality, reputation, and well-being of the community.

Qualifications

• Florida Assisted Living Facility Administrator training and applicable regulatory qualifications
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for teams, operations, and organizational performance
• Previous leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, senior living, healthcare, or a closely related environment
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational planning
• Ability to develop, motivate, and hold teams accountable while fostering a positive workplace culture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, staff, and professional partners
• Compassionate, service-oriented leadership with sound judgment and a strong sense of responsibility
• Working knowledge of senior living regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to balance resident needs, team leadership, regulatory responsibilities, and financial stewardship
