Social Worker

Pay range is $52,000-$60,000 and based on experience. LISW/LPCC/IMFT receive 5% on top of base pay Responsible for social work programming and quality on the Acute Care Unit. Works closely with Director of Nursing in providing therapeutic programming for Acute Care Clients. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered. Provides and oversees diagnostic assessments. Makes recommendations about patient’s treatment needs based on screening and diagnostic assessment. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered. Employs a variety of treatment modalities including individual, group, and family therapy. Psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities are appropriately matched for clinical needs. Education/Experience Master’s Degree in social services/social work/counseling 3-5 Years’ experience in mental or behavioral health, preferably inpatient/acute care Licensure/Certifications Licensed as a Social Worker, Counselor or Marriage Family Therapist (LSW/LPC/MFT) in the State of Ohio LISW/LPCC/IMFT Preferred with supervision designation NVCI CPR(BLS)/First Aid MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff, along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities. All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children) and a 5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer of employment.
