Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Operating Room

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients
• Direct the development and communication of a collaborative plan of care
• Implement and evaluate care plans based on patient goals and outcomes
• Complete all documentation using the established tools
• Assess patient readiness and implement individualized educational plans
• Lead Department of Nursing initiatives, such as in-service opportunities
• Provide age-appropriate care based on organizational standards
• Perform all functions according to policies, procedures, and professional standards

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Operating Room

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Ohio State Board of Nursing licensure
• BSN required
• At least 3 years of RN OR experience
• Travel experience required
• Completion of ~70 Net Learning modules and passing of ECG/Medication exam with a score of 80% or higher required within one week of acceptance
• Current Ohio Nursing License, BLS, and ACLS certifications
