CDL Garbage Truck Driver – Shreveport, LA

Starting Pay: $24/hour

Pay Schedule: Every Friday – no waiting around.

Overtime: Anything over 40 hours a week gets you time-and-a-half

Waste Connections is hiring CDL Drivers at our Shreveport hauling site. In this role, you’ll operate a garbage truck to safely and efficiently service commercial and/or residential routes. We’re looking for someone who puts safety first and takes pride in doing the job right.

What You’ll Do:

Operate a garbage truck on assigned routes
Collect waste or recycling from local businesses or homes
Work in all weather conditions
Deliver dependable service with a safety-first mindset

Schedule & Pay:

Monday - Friday
Start time: 3:00 a.m., working 9-10 hours a day
$24/hour starting pay, weekly pay

Requirements:

A Class A or B CDL with no manual restrictions
2+ year of commercial driving experience. Waste Industry experience is a plus.
A clean driving record and strong safety awareness
