Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment

Seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment providing specialized respiratory care in a busy hospital setting. The role involves managing ventilators, airway procedures, and delivering patient-centered respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor ventilator support for critically ill patients.
• Perform airway management procedures to ensure optimal respiratory function.
• Assess patient condition and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver effective respiratory care.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in EMR.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory care best practices and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Current valid Respiratory Therapist license or credential.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent acute care hospital experience as RRT.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification required.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• PEDS/NICU/PICU experience considered a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-focused environment.
