This position will drive sales growth utilizing communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure new customers. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager/Director within a defined territory or region. The Sales Team Lead is responsible for building an effective sales pipeline and assisting team members with building their sales pipeline which will result in booked sales. Also responsible for timely follow up, management and distribution of leads in his or her assigned region under guidance from the RSM/RSD or TGM./ph3How Youll Create Impact/h3ulliPromotes team spirit and team success, especially in his or her assigned sales region, ensuring team sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis are being met through proper training, coaching and management./liliPlans, coordinates, and executes local educational and sales events that will augment the business and help to deliver budgeted sales goals./liliUtilizes sales system to manage and track leads, and report on daily customer sales activity and non-customer prospecting activities./liliCommunicates with Regional Sales Leaders and other internal functions to ensure voice of customer is heard by internal departments. Reports on competitor and customer activities in the field./liliBuilds strong relationships with key surgeons while having the ability to cover Reconstructive, Extremities, CAS, Surgical, Sports Medicine and Trauma procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen./liliStrictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training./liliSupports Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas and references./liliDevelops relationships with product support personnel./liliCollaborate with and provide sales support and case coverage for team and/or territory, which includes the transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants for day, evening, add on or weekend cases./li/ulpThis is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the ADA./ph3What Makes You Stand Out/h3ulliMust be mobile and willing to travel./liliWilling a capable of carry weights up to 50 lbs./liliExcellent oral and written communication skills./liliAbility to work as part of a team is essential to the job./liliParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals./liliAbility to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail./liliCommunicate clearly in verbal and written form in English./liliPerform all other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Your Background/h3ulliMinimum of a Bachelors Degree required/liliMinimum of 5 years sales experience in medical device, surgical; or a minimum of 8 years proven sales experience in the medical device industry./liliA combination of education and experience will be considered./li/ulh3Travel Expectations/h3ulliUp to 95% predominantly by car - depending on territory 0% to 20% overnight stays as well as air travel might be required./li/ulpEOE/M/F/Vet/Disability/p/div
