Job Title: Procurement Operations Specialist Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package $60,000 – $80,000 per year plus Stock Options Job Description: We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Procurement Operations Specialist to help support our manufacturing, engineering, and production teams. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working across purchasing, vendor communication, inventory, and general operations. You will help make sure our team has the parts, materials, tools, and supplies needed to build high-quality robotics products on schedule. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment where the right person will have a direct impact on production speed, organization, and execution. Key Responsibilities: Source, quote, and purchase parts, materials, tools, and general shop supplies Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, order status, & delivery dates Create and track purchase orders Follow up on delayed, missing, or incorrect shipments Help maintain organized inventory and stock levels Coordinate with engineering and production teams to understand purchasing needs Compare vendor options and help identify better pricing, availability, or quality Receive, label, organize, and document incoming materials Support general operations tasks as needed around the shop and production floor Improve purchasing, inventory, & vendor management processes as the company grows Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S Citizen or U.S. Green Card holder Prior Experience: 5 years Work on location in Austin, TX What We Are Looking For: Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong communication skills Comfortable calling and emailing vendors Able to follow up aggressively and keep things moving Good judgment when comparing price, lead time, and quality Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup/manufacturing environment Computer skills & ability to work with spreadsheets, purchasing systems, or inventory tools Willingness to learn technical products, parts, and manufacturing processes Reliable, accountable, and able to take ownership of tasks Ideal: Familiarity with mechanical parts, electrical components, hardware, tools, or shop supplies About the Role This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with an early-stage robotics company and become a key part of the operations team.
