Location: Harrisburg, PA Engagement Type: Direct Hire Position Type: Hybrid Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week onsite

Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting the configuration and administration of a business application platform. This individual will join the project during its early stages, learning existing business processes while helping develop future workflows, configure the platform, and deliver reporting solutions that support business operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with technical aptitude and enjoys improving processes, configuring applications, and translating business needs into effective system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend workflow improvements.
• Configure and maintain application settings to support business operations.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and updates.
• Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with IT and vendors on resolutions.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and SQL queries to support business decision-making.
• Perform data validation and assist with data imports, exports, and mapping activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users, IT, and external vendors.
• Create and maintain business process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), end-user training, and system adoption.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, application support, or a related role.
• 3+ years of experience gathering business requirements and documenting business processes.
• Experience improving workflows and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience configuring or supporting enterprise business applications.
• Experience developing reports and working with business data.
• SQL experience for reporting and data analysis is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Multi-Family housing or affordable housing business operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise application implementations or modernization initiatives.
• Experience with workflow automation or business process improvement.
• Experience with reporting or business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with data imports, integrations, and data mapping.
• Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA), Project Management, or similar certifications.
