Responsibilities

• Operate a Press Brake machine to fabricate metal components according to technical drawings and specifications
• Set up the machine, select appropriate tooling, and adjust parameters such as bend angles, tonnage, and material settings
• Load and position metal sheets or materials for bending operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
• Perform bending operations to meet required dimensions and tolerances
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify quality and accuracy
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work area clean and organized
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues during production
• Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Qualifications

• Experience operating Press Brake machines in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication diagrams
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials
• Experience setting up tooling and adjusting machine parameters for bending operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Ability to lift materials and work safely in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in HVAC, marine fabrication, or sheet metal production is a plus
