Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT We have been engaged by a large, Atlanta-based company in a search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will report to an Accounting Manager and be responsible for financial reporting, month end close, GAAP compliance, journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, P&L review, Balance Sheet review, bank reconciliations, internal controls, COGS analysis, and variance analysis. The right candidate for this Senior Accountant role will have: Bachelor's in Accounting 3+ years of progressive career experience Experience in: general ledger accounting, month end close, P&L review, balance sheet review , journal entries, variance analysis (explaining differences), and bank reconciliations. Strong communication skills and professional presence CPA/CPA track This role is best suited for someone who is eager to learn, to be part of a great team, and interested in long-term career development.
