GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Liberty, Missouri.

Job Description & Requirements

Telemetry / PCU Stepdown Float Pool RN

Shift

• 12-hour Nights
• 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Unit

• Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Float Pool
• Expected to float among telemetry and stepdown-level units as needed

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry and/or PCU RN experience
• Experience managing common cardiac drips, including:
  • Amiodarone
  • Cardizem (diltiazem)
  • Heparin
  • Nitroglycerin

Required Licenses & Certifications

• RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

EMR

• Altera Sunrise
  • Formerly known as Allscripts Sunrise
  • Acute-care electronic health record commonly used in hospitals

Clinical Skills Expected

Candidates should be comfortable with:

• Continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Titration and monitoring of cardiac medications
• Care of stepdown/intermediate-acuity patients
• Stroke assessments using NIHSS
• Floating between telemetry and PCU units
