Vacuum Truck OperatorThe Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.Pay: $25-$29/hr BOEAt GFL our goal is to invest in our people and provide opportunities to grow for life! Our employees are affectionately known as team green, a name that unites us all under our shared purpose of providing sustainable solutions to enable our customers and communities to be GREEN FOR LIFE!Benefits include:15 days of paid time off4 medical plan options including an HSA with employer contribution & match program401(k) with an employer matchPaid holidaysEmployee Assistance Program with free counseling services.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial settingFollow company policies and procedures as well as various on-site requirementsProvide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFLComplete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC complianceMaintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performedDemonstrate a commitment to environmental complianceParticipate in safety programs such as safety meetings, near miss reporting, and job hazard assessmentsWork independently while managing time and productivity and communicate effectivelyKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:Valid CDL ATanker Endorsement required2 years industrial vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience preferably with a combo unit preferred, but not requiredExceptional customer service and communication skillsSafety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial settingKnowledge to perform minor maintenance on units to maintain efficient operationPossesses cleanliness and organizational skillsMust be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
