Schedule

12p-12a, Every 3rd weekend, Every 3rd holiday, Varied Schedule Monday-Sunday

Assignment Details

Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Requirements

• AS in nursing required, BS in nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the state.
• ACLS certification upon hire or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• AHA PALS within six (6) months of hire.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Emergency Department preferred.
• TNCC, ENPC, and CEN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate nursing interventions and patient goals.
• Provide patient care based on established standards and protocols.
• Engage in patient and family teaching based on identified needs.
• Supervise and delegate nursing interventions effectively.
• Document all pertinent patient data and interventions accurately.
• Monitor patient safety and address potential risks.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapy safely.
• Assess and manage patient pain using appropriate methods.
• Maintain knowledge of disaster policies and procedures.
• Identify and respond to patients at risk of violent behavior.
