Overview: C++ Software Developer Downtown Chicago - Onsite About The Role: We are seeking a talented C++ Software Developer to join our growing trading firm and help build next-generation automated trading systems and commercial technology platforms. Working with equities and options, with future expansion into futures, you'll play a key role in designing high-performance solutions that directly impact our trading operations and products. What You'll Do:

- Develop and optimize automated trading strategies across equities, options, and futures
- Commercialize proprietary trading platforms and tools
- Enhance core trading systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Partner with traders and analysts to deliver technical solutions
- Analyze market data to improve and validate strategies
- Optimize systems for low-latency, high-performance trading
- Build risk management and compliance tools
- Create technical documentation and performance reports
- Strong C++ development skills for Linux-based server applications
- Experience with multithreading, thread safety, and real-time systems
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles, data structures, and software design
- Experience with network programming and distributed systems
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and programming concepts
- Professional software development experience
- Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks
- Experience optimizing systems for high performance and low latency
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
