Job Summary and Qualifications

Operates Ultrasound imaging equipment to produce images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes and assist physicians with procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred
• Bachelors of Science in Ultrasonography preferred
• Clinical hours in accredited school required to pass RDMS Registry for Vascular Ultrasound Technology
• ARDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services. It is known for its 24/7 emergency care, Level II Trauma Center, Burn Center, advanced heart care, and Baby-Friendly maternity services.
