Packer Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer/Machine Operator to join our 1st shift production team in Bristol, Rhode Island. This role will start as a packer and will transition to operating a slitting machine based on production volume. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately pack finished products into boxes and prepare them for shipment. Operate slitting machinery in a safe and efficient manner according to company standards. Perform start-up, shut-down, and regular operational checks on equipment. Follow all processes and safety instructions related to slitting materials. Monitor machine output to ensure consistent quality. Inspect finished materials for accuracy and quality compliance. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on machines and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Complete necessary production documentation and reporting. Work effectively with team members and leadership to meet production goals. Compensation: Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures. Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Basic math and measurement skills. Willingness to learn and cross-train in other departments as needed.
