Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments, including drips such as heparin, norepinephrine, and amiodarone.
  
  
• 
  Perform procedures such as chest tube management, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status using telemetry, transport monitors, and other advanced equipment.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license and possess at least 1 year of current PCU experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong neuro or cardiac experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Show excellent teamwork, high energy, and adaptability in a busy, high-acuity setting.
  
  
• 
  Possess proficient skills in telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
