Supplier Lifecycle Excellence: Cultivate executive-level partnerships with global suppliers to drive innovation, performance, and transparency, moving beyond transactional procurement to create long-term value. Risk Mitigation & Supply Resilience: Proactively analyze market dynamics and geopolitical trends to develop contingency plans, ensuring our production remains insulated from global supply chain disruptions. Cross-Functional Product Influence: Collaborate early in the design phase with Engineering and Product Management to influence material selection, ensuring "design-for-supply" principles are met for new product launches. Cost Optimization & KPIs: Lead complex negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives to meet annual savings targets and improve gross margins across the enterprise. Requirements Strategic Commodity Expertise: Deep professional experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, specifically focused on navigating complex commodity markets and technical hardware components. Negotiation & Influence: Proven ability to lead high-pressure negotiations and build consensus among internal stakeholders and external executive leadership to achieve favorable business outcomes. Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in using data-driven insights, ERP systems, and financial modeling to forecast market trends, manage inventory levels, and drive strategic decision-making.
