RN - LTC

LTC RN PositionThe position is for a Registered Nurse in a Long-Term Care setting. The role involves medication administration and supervisory duties. Experience with common diagnoses such as COPD, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF is beneficial. The nurse will be responsible for wound care, foley care, and ostomy care. Supervision of Certified Nursing Assistants and other healthcare staff is required. The facility operates with a nurse to resident ratio of 1:20 during the day/evening shifts. Day and evening shifts will have 2-3 CNAs available for support. Night shifts will have the same nurse to resident ratio but with an increased number of residents. Private rooms are available for residents. The facility utilizes a Blister Pack medication dispensing system. No intravenous treatments or titratable drips are administered. The nurse will communicate with physicians who are available after hours. Weekend work is required every other weekend, as well as every other holiday. There is no call or standby requirement for this role. Block scheduling is available based on the department's needs. The dress code will be provided.
