The Manual Machinist will be responsible for operating manual lathes, mills, and other precision machinery to manufacture and repair parts as per engineering specifications. The role includes interpreting technical drawings, measuring components for accuracy, maintaining machinery, and adhering to quality and safety standards. The candidate will collaborate with the team to ensure timely and precise completion of projects.QualificationsExperience with manual machining, including operating lathes, milling machines, and other precision machineryProficiency in interpreting technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machining tools and materialsFamiliarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesCommitment to maintaining safety standards and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced work environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plusPrior experience in industrial equipment repair or heavy machinery industries is beneficial, and/or 2+ years experience as a Manual Machinist.Able to perform heavy lifting and physically bend, twist, lift, push, pull to set up and operate equipmentHas reliable transportation and is committed to being at work for all scheduled shiftsDriven to high quality production standards and meet deadlinesDrug freeBenefits of working with Express Pros Gonzales LAPaid weeklyZero fees for us to find you a JOBHealth InsuranceHoliday pay
