Auto Mechanic

Location: Delaware, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday / Day Shift


Pay: $18.00 to $25.00 /hour

Position Overview


We are seeking a dependable and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team. If you have strong diagnostic abilities, take pride in your work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair cars, trucks, and SUVs efficiently and accurately


• Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks


• Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, steering systems, and exhaust systems


• Conduct engine diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues


• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems


• Perform transmission, cooling system, and HVAC repairs


• Complete vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance


• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper performance


• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation


• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards


• Assist with shop maintenance and other duties as assigned


Job Requirements


• Previous automotive repair experience required


• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills


• Own tools


• Valid driver's license required


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• ASE certifications are a plus
